This experiment was adopted at random totally, with 2 Batches of experiments (one in April 2004 and another in September 2004) on selected multiparous sows and piglets. For each batch, 12 York-white sows were randomly chosen, and divided into 2 groups. The April batch is called experiment group 1 and its control group. On experiment group 1.2% the antistressagent of sow's procreation was added to the self-supplied feedstock for the sow. After weaning, 2% the antistressagent of piglet's weaning was added to the piglet feedstock; The September batch is called experiment group 2 and its control group. On experiment group 2, only 2% the antistressagent of piglet's weaning was added to the piglet feedstock after weaning; Neither was used on the control groups. Blood samples were collected during weaning and 15d after weaning respectively, then analyzed for hematological and biochemical profiles. Proportion of diarrhea and growing speed of the weaning piglets after weaning were analysed .The results showed as follows:1 Compared with control group, the average weight in weaning and individual net weight 15d after weaning of piglets significantly increased (P<0.05) in experiment group 1, The individual net weight significantly increased (P<0.05) at 15d for piglets after weaning in experiment group. The results showed the antistressagent of sow's procreation can increase the quality and quantity of sow milk, and promote the growth of the piglet, the antistressagent of piglet's weaning can promote the growth of the piglet.2 Compared with the April batch, serum activities of AST of piglets in experiment group significantly decreased (P<0.01)during weaning and 15d after weaning, y -GT's activities significantly decreased (P<0.05) at 15d after weaning.
