Pharmacokinetic parameters of Compound HuangQin Granule in KunMing mouse were investigated; different in vitro and in vivo experiments were designed to test its various pharmacological effects. These experiments were consisted of three parts as follows:1. The preparation and determination the available component of Compound HuangQin GranuleThe extraction of Compound HuangQin which was distilled by water and ethanol was mixed with dextrin and sugar to form a new Compound Granule ( contenting crude drug 0.95g/g ) .The contents were determination by High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) assay. Contents were quantified with external standard method. The result showed a good linear relationship between the peak area and mass concentration of the Baicalin within the range of 25.36-164.92 μg·mL-1 (r=0.9997); Chlorogenic acid also has a good relationship within the range of 12.96-141.56μg·mL-1 (r=0.9997). Compound HuangQin Granule contains 4.035mg·g-1 Baicalin and 1.927 mg·g-1 Chlorogenic acid; the two relative standard deviation(RSD) were separately 1.05%, 0.08% (n=6). The average recoveries were separately 101.80%, 103.23%.2. The research on Pharmacokinetics of Compound HuangQin Granule Pharmacokinetics of orally administered at a dose of 18 g·kg-1 CompoundHuangQin Granule were investigated in Kunming mice. The effective component — —Baicalin and Chlorogenic acid in plasma concentration which was collected in different time after given orally HuangQin Granule were measured with HPLC . The results showed that the drug's two effective components - Baicalin and Chlorogenic acid in plasma were best described by a one compartment open model.
