Three experiments were carried out to study the effects of SDPP on performance, immune function of broilers and mortality of broilers infected with E.coli.Experiment 1: A single factor experiment was used in the experiment that was to study the effects of SDPP on performance, immune function of broilers by supplying different levels of SDPP. 300 1-day-old Arbor Acres broilers allotted randomly into 5 treatments with 6 replicates of 10 broilers(5 females and 5 males). Experiment was divided into 2 periods and lasted 7 weeks. In the 1st period(1~21d), broilers were feed basal diet, basal diet + 50ppm aureomycin and SDPP diet with different levels(0.5%, 2.5%, 5%). In the 2nd period(22~49), all the broilers of treatments were feed the same basal diet. At the 21st and 49th day, one broiler of each replicate were chosen and slaughtered after blood collected. The samples were sent to lab to determine biochemical indicators and immune indicators. The results indicated that: 1. Diets with SDPP can improve the performance of broilers in each period(1~21d, 22~49d, 1~49d). During 1 ~ 14 days, The ADG and ADFI of group with 0. 5% SDPP improved significantly (P<0.01) , and 2.5% SDPP group improved ADG (P<0.01). During 22~49d, groups with 0.5%, 2.5% and 5% SDPP improved ADG and ADFI (P>0.05) . During 1~49 days, group with 0.5%, 2.5% and 5% SDPP improved ADG and ADFI, but there had no significant difference between the groups with SDPP and antibiotic group. The F/G of each group had no difference (P> 0.05) .2. Regression equations were established to predict relationship of ADG and SDPP dose: y=-0.0958x2+0.3781x+7.3528 R2=0.365 P=0.0001;y=-0.2539x2+1.1426x+11.8701 R2=0.469 P=0.0001 ; y=-0.2633x2+1.0730x+17.5173 R2=0.395 P=0.0380.Regression equations showed the optima supplement of SDPP was 1.97%, 2.25% and 2.04% respectively during the period of 1~7d, 1 14d and 1 ~21d.3. 0.5%, 2.5% and 5.0% SDPP could improve Ea and Et (P>0.05) . 2.5% and 5% SDPP could significantly improve lymphocyte proliferative response(P<0.01) ,0.5% SDPP group lymphocyte proliferative response was better than the control group (P<0.05) .SDPP had no effect on immune organs exponent (P>0.05 ) .4. TP, albumin and uric acid were not effected by the SDPP supplemention at 21d and 49d(P>0.05) .Experiment 2: To study the effects of different level and phase using SDPP on broiler...
