Plug seedling is a modern plant breeding methods,which has now been successfully applied to vegetables, flowers and trees seedlings production at home and abroad. Our country is both a great tree peony resource country and a large tree peony producer. Therefore, tree peony seedlings production occupies a very important position, and is a valve key of promoting tree peony industrial development and enhancing the international competitiveness of tree peony seeds and seedlings. However, in view of tree peony tissue culture and cutting technology can not be used in the production of practice, developing tree peony plug seedling technology will be one of the effective ways of the transformation of traditional patterns.Tree peony seeds plug seedling for technology research is based tree peony seeds sprout identity, traditional seed breeding technology and factory plug seedling technology system. Tree peony seeds sprout rate is closely related with maturity. Therefore the selection of maturity and consistency to seed maturity is the key element of seedling technology. Tree peonies have epicotyl dormancy phenomenon, and sprout in the process needs to emerge after a period of low temperature. Tree peony is xylophyte, meat roots, and therefore must have special requirements to plug specifications. Media affects seeds sprout, seedlings emergence and the seedling stage of growth. Therefore, appropriate substrate recipes constitute a precondition for the success of the technology.This test focused on plug nursery specificity of tree peony seeds, focus on affect of the maturity of tree peony seeds on taking root and seedlings emergence, cryogenic processing for low temperature lifting dormant of tree peony seeds hypocotyls, the effect of media on rooting and the situation emerge and container specifications for the effects to take root situation. The results are as follows: 1. Marked with different skin color of tree peony seed, seed maturity divided into white, brown and black. The seedlings emergence rate of Feng Dan black seeds is significantly higher than the seedlings emergence brown seeds and white seeds rate in these types, so it should be preferred in plug nursery. Maturity for white Feng Dan seeds to take root rate significantly lower than brown and black seeds in the production should be eliminated. The effect of Feng Dan seed maturity on taking root, lateral root and root length is not significant.2. The containers of plastic alms bowl, 50 aperture plate and 40 aperture plate did not significantly affect the root rate of Feng Dan seeds. The root length and lateral root number in the 50 aperture plate and 40 aperture plate are less than in the plastic alms bowl. The lateral root number in 50 aperture construction sites were noticeably higher than 40 seeds aperture plate, so at tree peony plug nursery production 50 aperture plate should be preferred.3.
