There commonly exists a phenomenon of pursuing the outward beauty of urban Green space construction while losing its own ecological benefits and the functions to characterize the city. In view of the present situation , the paper is meant to point out the existing problems on the basis of the investigation to the Xi'an's the urban green space construction .Based on the brief introduction of development and trend of urban at home and abroad, firstly the paper conducts the analysis of the current problems that exist in Xi'an Green space construction ,then it puts forward some useful suggestions from the following aspect such as landscape,tree species,planting arrangement,landscape nursery,its biological diversity ,how to manifest the city's characteristics and how to realize ecology recreation in hope that it might be of some help to open space construction of Xi'an city.
