It not only pierces and sucks plant sap, destroys plant green organizations, but also pollutes the plant of leaf and fruit surface, affects plant of photosynthesis, leads to the plant of deformities, wither and die when it occurred largely. The present thesis is mainly dealt with taxonomic study on subfamily Parlatoriinae from China. Which includes the following parts: resume, material and methods, taxonomy and discussion.Firstly, the history on the taxonomy of Parlatoriinae in the world wide, damage, first instar and second instar nymphs and female adult of morphological characters, taxonomic characters are reviewed and outlined. The author thinks that species variation is one of the main contributors to synonym.Secondly, it is dealt with that the material and methods of the study and collection methods of the armoured scale and the permanent mount in the chapter two.Thirdly, in the taxonomy part, 5 genera and 41 species from China have been identified and described, of which 3 species are new to science, 1 species is new record from China. The keys are given to tribe, all genera and species concerned. Figures with detailed characters are attached for the new species and new record. Finally, some problems about Parlatoriinae are discussed. At the end of the paper, references are also attached. The new taxa and record in this paper are listed as follows:New species: Parlatoria menglunensis, sp. n. Parlatoria reedia, sp. n. Parlatoria shanghaiensis, sp. n.New record of species: Parlatoria ghanii Hall & William, 1962.All the type specimens of new species are deposited in the Entomological Museum, Northwest Agriculture & Forestry University, Yangling, Shaanxi, China and Shanghai Institute of Plant Physiology and Ecology, Chinese Academy of Sciences respectively.
