Harmful Rodent is now a serious problem in worldwild. It threatens the human's life, production and the social development. The paper mainly study the racin's extraction, sepration ,the killing efficacy to Rodents and the applied experiment in Qingzang plateaue. The research makes the base to the Botanical Rodenticide which racin is the main component.Choose caster bean of good quality and find out the optimum way of extraction through three methods. Finally, the method that extracted with 0.2mol/l PBS(PH=7.2), Centrifugated and then salted out through 80%(NH4)2SO4, re-centrifugated dialysised ,freezed at last is taken. Compared to the other two, this method is more economical and practical.Study the toxic efficacy on white mouse through feeding, stomach in. In feeding experiments, the given concentration is 10 mg/g and the mortality rate is 83.3%; In feed stomach experiment, the given concerntration is 10-4g/ml and the mortality rate is 75%; In the inject abdomen experiment, the injective concentration is 10-5g/ml,and the mortality rate is 83.33%. The results shows that racin is a slowy toxin since those treated white mouse generally died between 30h and 128h.We have done the research for 4 times .The baits' edibility to the rats was studied. And the flour was best, the average eaten rate was up to 83.39. But considering the cost and the problems would be happened in the actual applications, wheat was chosen to be the bait in fieldwork. Applicated experiment to treat rats and habbits in Qingzang plateaue was taken, using racin as the main componet. And the rodenticide's activit, large-scale applied edibility and field security were observed. The results show that the average controlling rates are over 85% with in concentration 1%. The bait had good edibility. The eaten rate was...
