Adopting gravity plate and whirler-type airborne microbial sampler, atmosphere microorganism from three function areas of Nanking City such as culture and education area, scenery area and downtown area totaled eight experimented points was collected, cultured, identified and analyzed. Air suspend particles and the dust absorption ability of some tree species were contemporarily observed and analyzed. The results showed that quantity of microorganism, content of TSP and methods of collecting samples from three function areas differed from each other:First, average content of TSP of culture and education area and scenery area was lower than that of open area by 53% and 27%, than that of downtown area by 23% and 63%.As a whole content of TSP of woodland was lower than woodless land by 53%. Seasonal change of content of TSP of three function areas showed that the air TSP content of spring and winter were higher but summer and autumn were lower.Second, total amount air microorganism of woodland (including the Drum Building Square) was lower than woodless land by 23%. Concentration of air microorganism of downtown was higher than that of scenery area and culture and education area. Density of air germs of scenery area was obviously lower than culture and education area and downtown area. Density of air epiphyte of downtown area was obviously lower than scenery area and culture and education area. In total density of the air microorganism, air germs and fungis occupied more proportion than air actinomycetes which could not affect distribution of total density of the air microorganism. Laws of seasonal change of density of air germs and fungis and total air microorganism showed highest in autumn, lower in summer and lowest in winter.Third, From spring to autumn, trend of density change of air microorganism was in accordance with that of air suspend particle. From autumn to winter trend of density change of air microorganism was opposite from that of air suspend particle.Fourth, The two measurement methods of density of air germs and fungis all can reflect the distribute and changing regulation of air microorganism of Nanking City, during which gravity plate measured higher and LWC-1 whirler-type airborne microbial sampler, measured lower but more near to actual value.As a whole ,TSP pollution of the downtown of Nanking City was more severity, atmosphere environmental quantity of culture and education area was moderate and atmosphere environmental quantity of the purple Kingsoft scenery area was better.
