In this research, the qualitative and quantitative methods was adopted in analyzing whether it is fit to grow and distribute for bamboos or not in Zhejiang Province, based on the basic theories and methods of Ecology and Ecological Regionalization. In addition, the Ecological Characteristic of bamboos were applied too. The basic means of regionalization is clustering. First of all, the Index System was constructed by choosing these factors that is linked to the growth and distribution of bamboos, then it was divided into two parts, one is related to the Ecology, the other is related to the Economy. Secondly, the correlation analysis was applied among these indexes in order to cross out some improper ones. Then the dates of these indexes were normalized. These indexes were regarded as variables(Principal Component Analysis would be applied if it is needed), and the 69 counties of Zhejiang Province were regarded as cases. After cluster analysis and adjusting, the 69 cases were clustered as different parts which were named as class(subclass) and finally Eological division (Ecological subdivision). As a result, some problems related to the development of Bamboo Industry were dissussed, contacting with the management actualities in every divisions. The chief procedures and results are showed as:1) Zhejiang Province was regionalized as 6 Ecological divisions of bamboos and two of them were subdivided as 4 Ecological subdivisions; The north easten hilly, plain and lower mountainous division (The plain subdivision, The hilly and lower mountainous subdivision); The north westen mountainous division; The middle hilly, basin and lower mountainous division; The south westen basin lower mountainous division; The south easten coastal hilly, plain and lower mountainous division (The plain subdivision, The hilly and lower mountainous subdivision ); The easten insular and penisular division.2) Many methods of quantitative analysis were adopted such as Hierarchical Cluster analysis and Fuzzy Cluster analysis, the results tell that the Hierarchical Cluster analysis is better than Fuzzy Cluster analysis; Many means for calculating similarity measurement between every two cases and the distance between every two clusters were applied too in this research, the results indicates that the Cosine combining with Between-groups linkage was the best ways in Zhejiang Province.
