| The paper studied insecticidal constituent in root of perploca sepium Bunge by photochemistry and pesticide aspect, The main results are as follows.1. LY01, the insecticidal constituent were isolated with guidance of bioassay and chemistry separation technology. Its structure that is Periplocoside A were identified mainly by 1H NMR,13C NMR.2.Periplocoside A had stomachic toxicity against Mythimna separate and Plutella xyllostella, and had topitical toxicity against Schizaphis graminum.The symptom indicated that periplocoside A had destroyed structure of midgut.
