Choosing KAP gene as candidate gene, the genetic relationship between KAP gene and economic traits (wool yield , wool fineness and weight trait ) of fine-wool sheep of 60 XinJiang(XJ) and 48 ShaanBei(SB) were analyzed by PCR-SSCP method, using SPSS software. The result showed:The average site heterozygosity fine-wool sheep of XJ and SB was 0.4450 and 0.3997,repectively. The mean polymorphism information was 0.3666 and 0.3189,repectively. Sequence analysis showed that BB genotype of KAP1.3 had sequence transversion , other genotypes were normal.In weight traits, AB genotype was significant difference(P<0.05)with AA genotype at S3 sites, AB genotype was the favorable marker genotype, AA genotype was significant difference(P<0.05)with other genotypes at S5 sites, AA genotype was the favorable marker genotype. Selection reaction showed that S2 sites was the best marker sites in weight trait for XJ, S5 sites was the best marker sites in weight traits for SB.In wool yield traits, AA genotype was significant difference(P<0.05)with other genotypes at S4 sites, AA genotype was the favorable marker genotype. Selection reaction showed that S5 sites was the best marker sites in wool yield for XJ, S1 sites was the best marker sites in wool yield traits for SB.In wool fineness traits, AB genotype was significant difference(P<0.05)with other genotypes at S3 sites, AB genotype was the favorable marker genotype, AA genotype was significant difference(P<0.05)with other genotypes at S5 sites, AA genotype was the favorable marker genotype. Selection reaction showed that S5 sites was the best marker sites in wool fineness trait for XJ, S3 sites was the favorable marker sites in fineness of wool traits for SB.
