The experments were performed on greenhouse cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.Daiduoxing) in soiless culture,to study the best index and the best index and the best way in element-Mg enrichment. Through laboratorial analysis together with field observation, the index and way of Mg enrichment in cucumber soilless culture has been studied systematically, and the relationship between its content of element-Mg and disease index has also been investigated preliminarily. The results may provide reference to cucumber soilless culture in greenhouse.This research is belonged to the element-Mg of cucumber soilless culture in protected surrounding, it is finished by cucumber Daiduoxing from Horland, and it is done in Xingtiandi Structure Agriculture Garden of Yangling.There are seven districts at random in the field, and they are classfied by different treatments. Studies were conducted on the cucumber of soilless culture, including watching growth of plant in detail, writing them and enriching element-Mg promptly when the absent symptom is coming out. Under different treatment of element-Mg enrichment, the following items were analysised in turn: disease index after different days, leaf area, photosynthesis speed, content of chlorophyll,and content of element-Mg in leaves, and yield of single fruit, yield of single plant and the whole district.The results showed that different ways of treatment has remarkable influence on cucumber plant, and spray to leaves is better than irrigation to roots. In different spray treatments, the concentration of 0.4 percent is the best one, which has very remarkable influence on cucumber plant: after enrichment element-Mg 10 days, the disease index is lowed, and the leaf area and photosynthesis speed are the highest, to 413.3㎝ 2 and 5.03 DW·m-2·d-1 respectively, and content of chlorophyll and element-Mg in leaves are the largest, to 94.7% and 0.63% seperately, and yield of singal fruit, singal plant and yield of whole district are largest, to 0.100㎏, 3.00㎏ and 107㎏ respectively. But others have no remarkable influence on plant. The different irrigation treatments to roots also have no remarkable influence on plant.In conclusion, the 0.4 precent spray leaves is the best way in all treatments when element-Mg is absent in cucumber soilless culture.
