Studies On Synthetical Techniques Of Soilless Culture Of Primula Acaulis Species

Primula acaulis is a kind of prerennical herb of primrose family , it is cold-resistant, and the period of flower is very long. The flower colour is very abundant , and it is a excellent species of flower bed in spring and is important ornamental plant to decorate the room in the winter-spring season . To further promote the good quality and high effective culture and large-scale production on Primula acaulis, this paper systematically study the methods of primula acaulis's soilless cultivation, medium selection, application of nutritional solution, etc. The results were indicated as follows:For comparison of the cultivation effect of different culture medium, utilizing organic residue such as pine needle , mushroom residue , coconut husk , fancy suiting, cinder and peat, combining with different ritio. In the experiment of culture medium selection, 6 medium formulas were tested during the growth of Primula acaulis to compare and analyze their influence . The results were indicated as follows : the two kinds of soilless media (mushroom residue : pine needle = 3 : 2 , mushroom residue: peat : fancy suiting = 1 : 1 : 1) could significantly promote the plant width , the number of leaves , the fresh mass and dry mass of branches and leaves , average root length , the length of the longest root , the diameter and number of flowers , the days of intial buds and first day of blossom . The kind of soilless media (mushroom residue : pine needle = 3 : 2 ) has a low production cost, so it is the most practically. Two-factor Cross Design was used to the experiment of nutrient treatment .Factor A stands for different nutritional solution. Factor B stands for different time of the application (root filling is the application method ).There are 9 combinations in the experiment .The results show that 7-10 days is suitable to the soilless cultivation of Primrose family, considering the cost and application time , Improved nutrient has a relatively better effect than the traditional nutrient.'Jiabao"(a kind of nutritional solution)has a same cultivation effect as the improved nutrient.
