Subina virginlana (Linn.) Ant. is not only a good gardening tree because of its beautiful appearance but also one kind of excellent afforesting trees because of its good hardiness. Five Sabina virginlana (Linn.) Ant. provenance such as LA, SD, NE, MO, TX have been introduced from USA. The series of experiments have been carried out including breeding seedling in container, compared experiments on cold resistance in different provenance, afforesting experiments, compared experiments on experimental woods provenance, and tissue culture experiment. Based on all of them, the growing rule in seedling period of different provenance has been summed up.Through the experiments, it can be found that there are great differences in high and the growing of stem between different provenance, especially between LA and SD, NE and TX. Compared to these two kind differences, between the other kinds of provenance difference is not very remarkable. The adaptability of Sabina virginlana (Linn.) Ant. is a little higher. It can be grown rapidly in warm and wetness climate and under good soil condition. Compared to local trees, the annual growth quantity is listed by the following in order Finns tabulaeformis> Sabina virginlana (Linn.) Ant.>Platycladus orientalis (L.) Franco.About breeding seedling in container, it is the best to deal with the Sabina virginlana (Linn.) Ant. seeds through stratification with gibberellin under low temperature. Through this method, the germinate rate can reach 76.1%. Later of April is the best time to seeding in Tianshui area. In order to prevent excessive growth of branches and leaves and safely go through the winter, it should be fertilized to seedling before the high growing period. There are some differences in resisting cold among difference Sabina virginlana (Linn.) Ant. provenance. After having been analysed the ecological conditions difference between the original area and introduced area, learned to its geographical variance rules, grasped the characters in growing, hardiness and so on among difference provenance, it should be decided what kind of trees plant where areas. Based on the research of the cold disaster in 2 years growing seedling, it shows that the cold resistance is listed by the following in order SD >NE >MO>LA. Through the afforesting experiments, it can be found that the growing of plants of container is the best, and the growing of bare-root planting is the worst because the rate of survive just is 29.17%. So in the production practice, the plants of container should be mainly planted, and should be mixed with this kind of trees with small-sized crown. After planting of introduce Sabina virginlana (Linn.) Ant., the growing of LA is the best, and the TX is the worst. The growth quantity is listed by the following in order LA> SD > NE >MO>TX.There are two growing pinnacles in one growing cycle, and the two times of coming out growing pinnacles are the same. The growing situation is following the rhythm of "slow-fast-slow-fast-slow". Coming out growing pinnacles is depended on the local temperature and moisture conditions. The two growing pinnacles respectively come out in from June 16lh to January 1st and from August 16th to September 1st. During the period of coming out two growing pinnacles, there is a short growing slowness period in form January 16th to August 1st.Through the series of experiments, the conclusion on issue culture in Sabina virginlana (Linn.) Ant. is listed following. The best way to sterilize sprig is the bleaching powder contain 35 min or 0.1% HgCl2 contain 10 min. The best way to sterilize seed is the bleaching powder solution 35 min or 0.1% HgCl2 solution 15 min. The culture medium in the sprig of original provenancetion is MS + BA1.5mg/L + NAA0.05 mg/L.
