The stages of the Cymbidium flower bud differentiation can be divided as follows:indifferentiationon phase,differentiation initial phase,phase of floral primordia formed, phase of sepal formed,phase of petal and column foremed.C.Walu 'Idol' 's flower bud differentiation begins at later May,ends in early August,altogether needs 60-70 days to finish the process;while C. Sleeping Dawn 'Mine"s flower bud differentiation begins at later July,ends in early October,needs 70-80 days.2. C.hybridum's florescence can be advanced by exogenous GA₃ and flower stem's height was also increased.The effect of high chroma is most evidence,it can make C. 'Yellow Knighf's florescence advance 22.6 days,and stem height increase 13.0cm.While C.Sleeping Dawn 'Mine'can reach 31.0 days and 14.22cm.Though flower stem's height can be increased by injection mefhod,fhere were infertile florets,so spraying method can be recommended. C. Sleeping Dawn'Mine' 'number of florets can be increased by treating before flower buds differentiation, the most can be enhanced 0.37,while it has no effect by treating afer flower buds differentiation.3. C. hybridum's florescence can be advanced by PP333, florets's number was also increased.The effect with high chroma is most evidence,can advance 36.6 days and increase 0.32.Content of chlorophull and soluble albumen of leaves can beincreased by treating with PP333. But plants and flower stem's height can be decreased by PP333. Leaf's length and flower stem's height can be decreased by 20.0cm and 17.8cm with 1000ppm PP333,thus ornamental value is also debased. PP333 will make florets infertile,the percentage of infertile florets by 1000ppm can reach 10.70%.4. By contrast two oversummering methods,contents of chlorophull,soluble sugar and soluble albumen of plants planting on the hill will be increased rapidly before long moving to the hill.C hybridum's flower buds' appearance time and florescence cultivating on the hill can be advancd and more centralized.Then flower stem 'number and height and floret's number planting on the hill will be enhanced too.The plants cultivating down the hill will apear shrink and infertile phenomena.
