The article designs a new type of ditching chain-edaphic and mineral ditching chain with reamer for solving that general ditching chain is difficult to be applied to ditching equipment. And the article puts forward a new type of chain drive structure which chain wheel nips and gnaws chain. Moreover the structure is convenient to removing of soil granule in the process of chain drive in the soil medium. Up to now, the gnaw of chain drive is that chain encloses to gnaw chain wheel. The chain is consisted of more than two parts. Therefore, based on the structure, a new of type of edaphic and mineral chain with reamer is put forward. The research contents put forward by the article described theory of chain drive and applicable bionics in the soil medium. It is useful to chain drive design, improving efficiency and saving energy for chain ditcher. And the gnaw in the soil medium is differentiate from the gnaw in non-soil medium. It is still traditionally gnaws of chain and chain drive. The traditional structure doesn't describe the theory of chain drive in the soil medium, doesn't reduce resistance of gnaw and drive, doesn't reduce moving resistance of soil granule and doesn't save energy and protect environment.The article briefly introduces basic characteristic and theory of chain drive, respectively discusses merit and lack in chain drive, gear drive and strap drive, introduces the invalidation form of chain drive. The article still introduces physical dynamics character of the soil. The chain drive in the soil medium has closely relation ship with the physical dynamics of the soil. The article introduces the soil cultivate part dynamics. It will help us to analyze and research the mutual effect between soil and cultivate parts. Moreover, the article still introduces soil adhesion theory, the theory of doff adhesion of biology, the bionics technology of doffing soil and reducing resistance about ground machine. It provides a definite theoretical basis for application of chain drive parts. What's more, the article briefly relates the purpose and significance of researching title.The article still introduces the research circs of domestic and oversea chain ditcher and analyzes the defect of domestic and oversea chain ditcher basing on traditional chain drive. The chain ditcher is based on the roller chain. It uses general roller chain and changes the chain board into reamer shape. The general chain originally designed by drives in the non-solid medium .so it is difficult to adapt work condition of chain ditcher. It is hard to work when it falls across the soil with sand and stone. The friction and abrasion wear of the chain is very severity. It is easy to invalid because of abrasion wear. Therefore, the article designs the edaphic and mineral ditching chain with reamer, puts forward the two technical scheme—border up homology ditching and alternate with homology ditching chain. The merit of design is following:Structure novelty, chain nips and gnaws chain wheel, the chain section with groove of eliminating medium, the medium can't be accumulate, reducing the resistance of gnaw and drive, improving efficiency, saving energy and so on. At the same time, the article induces in detail the calculation formula of the tolerance of chain contact pitch and chain length, which provides theory foundation for further design. Because the chain drive of the chain ditcher belongs to half closechain drive, so the moving in the soil medium accompanies with drive, transportation, digging and bringing soil height and so on. Besides, the interference of the gnaw process of chain and chain wheel is not same small as the gnaw process in liquid and air medium. The gnaw is very complex. The chain and chain wheel gear will get soil adhesion force and frication force and so on.The gnaw drive theory put forward by the article is a novelty to chain drive theory. The structure can reduce gnaw resistance and improve gnaw efficiency. And the article further analyzes influence of the soil character to chain drive, cutting theory which the chain reamer cuts soil in the process of chain drive. The article founds calculation formula of velocity which the soil granule is cut, transported and thrown out when the granule is in different state. Moreover, the article analyzes the force state and induces in detail force formula aiming at the process of half close chain drive in the soil medium.Because bundling mud, friction and abrasion wear problem will always appear when the ditching chain is working. So the article performs bionics application and bionics experiments. The article performs protruding package bionics, ripple bionics, concave pit bionics and to machine them according to the phenomenon and theory which geometry non-smooth structure element of protruding package of dung beetle body surface, ripple of step nail body surface and concave pit of angle worm body surface can reduce adhesion and resistance. The machining method is that geometry non-smooth protruding bionics and ripple bionics structure element of martensite alloy iron casting is welded in pile on basic of ditching chain. The fabrication uses manual electric arc pile welding. The processing is following:The ditching chain is beforehand heated in electric-gas heating stove. Then beforehand heated ditching chain is clamped in special clamp. The geometry non-smooth structure elements of protruding package and ripple are pile welded on the surface of ditching chain. Concave pit bionics drilled on the body surface. Through the contrast experiment, it is indicated that it is powerfully shown that it can reduce adhesion and resistance through performing reasonable on ditching chain. Moreover, it is evident for protruding package bionics to reduce adhesion and resistance. At the last, the article puts forward idea of further research and problem needing to solve. It establishes basis for future research and application.
