A flock(10,000 set) of broiler breeder AA from the Xinjiang Kangsheng Poultry Breeding Limited Company, when they were 2, 6, 14 and 26-week-old, were respectively inoculated with subtype H5 and H9 of avian influenza inactivated oil-emulsion vaccine. When they were 27, 32, and 36-week-old, their eggs were hatched separately, and 30 broiler chickens from per batch of them were randomly sampled. From the first day of the chicking, 6-10 broiler chickens were randomly sampled blood from the total of 30 chickings at an interval of one day. Then their maternal antibodies, such as subtype H5 and H9, were continuously checked with the method of HI. Meanwhile, a flock (6,000 set) of egg breeder Hailan, when they were 2, 9 and 18-week-old, were respectivly inoculated with same avian influenza vaccine as above. When they were 24, 29 and 33-week-old, their eggs were hatched separately, and were randomly sampled with same method, also the following trial process, condition and method were as same as above. The results demonstrated that their maternal antibodies of broiler chicken, such as subtype H5, could keep for 4-5 weeks with the lever of 41og2 or over; but for the antibody of H9, only 2-3 weeks with the lever of 41og2 or over. Otherwise the maternal antibodies of egg chicken, such as subtype H5, could keep for 3-4 weeks with the lever of 41og2 or over; but for the antibody of H9, only 2-3 weeks with the lever of 41og2 or over. From the trial result, it could be also found out that the continuous duration of the chicken's maternal antibody, such as subtype H5 was longer than that of the subtype H9.
