Breeding And Application Of Longdong White Cashmere Goats Strain

The work in this thesis is the part of item" the breeding and application of Longdong white cashmere goats strain" , one of "9th of the 5-year Kay Project" Foundation of Gansu Province, which carried out by Gansu provincial Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Institute. The work of organization and technology related during the item implemented were reviewed according to results of analyzation and observation of experiment.The breeding works before the item applied were introduced, the social necessity, possibility and significance of item were clarified; Techniques routine, extended and organization methods, were presented; the main achievements were reviewed such as follows: breeding populations and techniques demanded, breed traits and production performance of Londong white Cashmere Goats strain, information of practice production in breeding area, peasant receipted and learned technique to engage in the development of sheep and goats in the region where item were conducted, results of experiments on breeding et al; objective evaluation of General technique level of item and White Cashmere goats strain were given.Finally, management, breeding objectives in the future and sustainable development of Longdong Cashmere Goats were discussed.
