According to the investigation ,the soil and water erosion has become an serial phenomenon in many reservoirs and catchments , it need to be dealt with urgently.Dong Zhen reservoir is the really important source of water of agriculture, industry and living PuTian city. In recent years, Water and soil erosion is aggravating and the safety of water utilization is in danger because of some physical factor and anthropogenic factor such as out-of-order's development in orchard, mining. Water and soil conservation and ecological reconstruct are becoming the urgent task.Taking the Dong Zhen reservoir as an typical case ,this paper makes an analysis of water and soil erosion's actuality and danger, and puts forward the policies of water and soil conservation and ecological construction, which can arouse the society ,including the government and interrelated departments pay more attention to understand the severity of water and soil erosion in reservoirs and catchments .It is very important to rational use and protect the water and soil resource ,and also has a great meaning to construct of the ecological province in Fujian.This research applies the virtual reality GIS technology to build the monitoring and predicting system which is important to prediction of water and soil erosion , advancing environment and realizing sustainable development of...
