The highly realistic simulation modeling and interaction of virtual flowers has always been an important direction of virtual plant research.VR headsets have become one of the mainstream display devices with the popularity and rapid development of virtual reality technology,it have a strong sense of immersion.The virtual flower system in VR headsets devices requires realistic rendering of the image to achieve the immersive effect.The general graphics engine rendering function and plant modeling cannot meet this requirement.VR devices are different from traditional displays,so the simple operation of the mouse and keyboard does not suitable for VR headsets.Therefore,how to make the user more fluent with human-computer interaction in the VR environment,and better simulate the realistic appearance of the plant,has great research value.To solve those problems,based on the principle of light models,this paper proposes a physics-based rendering algorithm based on the Bidirectional Scattering Distribution Function and uses the ShaderLab language to simulate the virtual flowers in the lighting environment.Then we optimize the fusion algorithm and solve the problem of transmission in the petals and leaves of flower plants,which can more realistically simulate the appearance of flower plants.Then,we developed a set of interactive gestures based on the interaction principle of the VR head-mounted display device for this system,which can meet the requirements of real-time human-machine natural interaction and allow the user to operate in a more fluid way.Finally,the system designed in this paper is built,and the distortion of the image is optimized for the lens imaging effect of the head-mounted display device,so that the system image is more realistic.The VR virtual flower simulation interactive system allows users to closely observe the appearance of flower plants in different lighting environments,freely switch flower plant types and light source colors.Users can interact with the system in a friendly way,and immerse themselves in the system and get a immersive roaming experience.
