Application Of Nutrition And Growth Regulator In Cultivation Of Introduced Pot Spray Chrysanthemum

The pot pray chrysanthemum is one of many cultivated types of chrysanthemum. Because of the outstanding ornamental characters, relatively easy cultivation, and convenient application, it has high economic value in the international flower market. Internationally, the cultivated techniques of potted chrysanthemum are pefect,and the varieties are diverse .The industrialization of chrysanthemum is in the early stages in China.Through introducting the excellent varieties and advanced technologies from foreign country, this research expectes to find a set of technologies which is suitable to annual production in the cultivation environment of our country. The central results are summarized as follows:1. Trough a questionnaire investigation about the consumption prospect of pot pray Chrysanthemum , the author understood the requirement of characters and were aware of questions of consumers about pot pray Chrysanthemum. We have made the primary quality standard of potted chrysanthemum.2. This research deals with annual production of eighteen varieties of pot pray Chrysanthemum, which were introduced from CBA company of Holland. We have already worked out a suit of suitable cultivation management methods, have achieced the goal that those varieties can bloom in four seasons in Beijng, have had the varieties which are suitably cultivated in different seasons and have made some progresses on annual production of pot pray Chrysanthemum.3. This rearch concerns on effects of the nutrition on the ornamental qualities of pot pray chrysanthemum, the result is: (1) The ornamental qualities of pot pray Chrysanthemum are better, when the content of nitrogen is 15～25mmol/L, phosphorus is 4～8mmol/L, potassium is 6～9 mmol/L And the process of flower differentiation is accelerating when the content of nitrogen is 10mmol/L, phosphorus is 4mmol/L, potassium is 9mmol/L. (2)The suitable concentration of nutrient solution for the pot pray Chrysanthemum is 1/2 Hoagland.And the period of fertilization is once a week. (3) The characters of the pot pray Chrysanthemum is nice when the proportion of NH₄⁺-N and NO₃^--N is 1:2 ～ 1:4.(4) The height, colour of leaves and properties of flower is excellent when the concentration of KH₂PO₄ is 2g/L.The suitable concentration of KH₂PO₄ and B could promote the process of flower differertiation. 4.This rearch refers to effects of the growth regulater on the ornamental qualities of pot pray chrysanthemum. The result is: The ornament qualities of pot pray chrysanthemum performance are good when the concentration of B₉ is 2g/L which can improve the watching qualites in some extents.
