Rice dry raising for scattering transplanting have been developing greatly in all rice plant regions these years, and have received much economic and social effects, while seedling raising with plastic seeding tray, there have some shortcomings, for example, it is difficult to get vigorous seedling, and the cost is high, on the other hand, if seedling raising without seeding tray, soil appached on seedling will be little and seedling transplanted will not easily erect. According to these above, a new seed-coating regulator in rice seedling raising for scattering transplanting without seeding tray was manufactured in Lixiahe regional agricultural research institute in jiangsu, this ethesis is aimed to investigate the physiological and morphological effects of this regulator. The results showed that, this Seed-coating Regulator had these effects:Promoting germination this regulator contains high hydrophilic resin, so it can absorb much water around seed in different water potential soil, which will make seed germinating ealier and more uniform, preventing death rate of seedling, saving water consumption, increasing seedling rate by 11.3%.High effect of mothproof and prophylaxis bactericide and pesticide in the regulator can form a barrier around seed against pathogen, furthermore, they can be transmitted from coat layer to shoot, resisting against pests and bacteria for longer time. Attribute to this feature, the seed-coat regulator has a prevention and cure efficiency of 87.3%.Making seedling stronger seedling treated with this seed-coating regulator has higher chlorophyl content, higher photosynthesis rate, more vigorous root activity, higher relative water content, higher SOD activity, and higher sugar content, making seedling much stronger.Promoting quality of transplanting because seedling treated with seed-coating regulator can attach much soil, thus when scattering transplanted, it will have a more erectly posture, helping roots & tillers' developing, as a result, LAI, dry mass, effective amount of panicles and number of grains per panicle are higher than those seedling without seed-coating treatment, and eventually get higher yield.Besides these investigations, a set of extension methods for this seed-coating regulator were established.
