This research choosed to use the thirty healthy bactrain camels with different age andgender as experimental animals, after carotid artery released the blood to cause death, andthen took out the fresh kidney. The renal artery of the bactrain camels was observedmaking use of a technique of the casting, microdissection technique and using scanningelectron microscope. The purpose lied in investigating adaptability structure of bactraincamel for hungriness drought weather. The concrete experiment results were as following:1. The renal artery of bactrain camel begun to branch before 4~8cm of renal hilum, andwas divided into two branches: trancus dorsalis and trancus ventralis. The trancus dorsalisshortly is divided into two branches which were named superior segmentum and inferiorsegmentum after entering the renal sinus.superior segmentum of trancus dorsalis of leftkidney was thicker than inferior segmentum of trancus dorsalis of left kidney, and the stemroute of the left kidney was shorter than the one of the right kidney before branching.Butsuperior segmentum of trancus dorsalis of right kidney was thinner than inferiorsegmentum of trancus dorsalis of right kidney, and its route of the stem was longer.Superior segmentum of trancus dorsalis of left kidney extended and then it wasdivided into two branches which called superior medial segmentum and anterior lateralsegmentum. The superior medial segmentum extended and then was divided many littlebranches which Passed through the essence of kidney. The branches of superiorsegmentum of trancus dorsalis of right kidney were similar to the one of the left kidney.Inferior segmentum of trancus dorsalis of left kidney entered the renal sinus and thenit was divided into two branches and the distribution was more orderly.one branch directedin the hilum which was named middle segmentum of trancus dorsalis of left kidney. Theother was called inferior segmentum of trancus dorsalis of left kidney which passedthrough the back laterial essence of kidney. These two segmental arteries distributedmany little branches and then kept march forward into the renal cortex. The distribution ofInferior segmentum of trancus dorsalis of right kidney was similar to the one of the leftkidney. The medial segmentum of inferior trancus dorsalis of right kidney was divided into2~3 branches at the comer and the beginning of it obviously had"brush-branch".2. The trancus dorsalis of renal artery passed through the essence of kidney and made itsway to the renal cortex when it entered the renal sinus. The trancus ventralis of rightkidney is basically alike to the branch of the left kidney. It had three big branches: (1) Theanterior ventral segmentum of renal artery (2) The middle ventral segmentum of renal artery (3) The inferior ventral segmentum of renal artery. In this research, the vaculature anastomosis of the renal artery was not observered.someplace of the renal substance was lack of the blood vessel obviously. Therefore, according to the characteristics of vasculature, in clinical research, It was viable to carryon partial resection.3. The characteristics of afferent arteriole and efferent arteriole distribution: (1) Theafferent arteriole of renal cortex outskirt was short and the branches was little and thepostglomerular capillary could not be observed.(2)The afferent arteriole of inner zonerenal cortex and the medulla side area was divided into many branches and formedpostglomerular capillary.(3) The afferent arteriole of medulla side area was obviouslythicker and longer than the one of other renal essence. The arrerent arteriole could bedistributed directly from the arcuate artery sometimes. The glomerulus in different zone ofrenal cortex had different shape characteristics.4. The arcuate artery of bactrain camel has a "trunk-bark" aspect and the appearance ofinterlobular artery was smooth. The characteristics of afferent arteriole and efferentarteriole casting was outs-tanding:they extended their branch like spiral; The casting aspectof afferent arteriole and efferent arteriole had impression of endothelial cell nuclei andanuliform pressure mark forced by smooth muscle. The efferent arteriole formedpostglomerular capillary and collected blood to match into the renal vein-reflux.
