Renal veins of ten Bactrian camel were observed for the first time by using the methods of ABS vascular proplasm, vascular charcoal-ink perfusion, and scanning electron microscopy. The results as follows.1 The distribution of renal veins was different from that of arteries. The vein of Bactrian camel kidney was converged in sinus by both one truncus cranialis and one truncus caudalis, which were converged by three branch veins.2.The capsule veins of kidney ,which wraped up parenchyma, were rich and formed anastomosis networks. The capsule veins of kidney in renal hillum converged directly into renal vein, but the capsule veins of kidney in others part collected the blood in the capsule veins ,and then converged by"branch-like patterns"to blood collected center ,which converged to collecting veins.3 The Branch vein was converged by intralobular vein.Arcuate veins usually converged into the intralobular vein by acute angle at the boundary of the cortex and medulla, however, sometimes they converged into truncus veins directly.4 The vasculature of the outer medulla was composed of vascular bundles and capillary networks. The vascular bundles contained both arterial and venous vasa recta. The arterial vasa recta provided side branches further divided into capillaries at various levels in the outer medulla, and those capillaries in the outer part drained into venous vasa recta between the bundles various levels in the outer stripe. The vasculature in the inner medulla was composed of capillary networks and venous vasa recta. The arterial vasa recta passed down into the bundles with few branches in the inner medulla. The arterial vasa recta in inner mudulla divided less branch than in outer medulla. Arterial vasa recta located in inner medulla divided into capillary network. The mesh of capillary network in inner medulla were larger than those in outer medulla.
