Evaporation is one of the crucial parts of hydrologic cycle., and the soil - water movement is influenced by it. This paper, analyzed the unsaturated soil water movement on the basis of theory of soil water and groundwater dynamics. Established one dimensional Soil Water Movement model, determined water movement parameters of clay(soil water characteristic curve, unsaturated soil hydraulic conductivity, Unsaturated Soil diffusiyity ) by experiment in ChangJi water balance test site, Simulated the soil water movement in the condition of crop growth and non crop growth. determined the function expression of one-dimensional vertical soil root system uptake item by numerical method , Calculated the soil water movement in different depth of groundwater by the data of water content and pressure head obtained from the data. The result indicates that the observation data are good agree with the calculated data, and the model is reliable. Besides, use the established model to simulated the soil water movement of different depth of groundwater, crop growth and non crop growth in the condition of the same soil type and similar climate.
