The test was aimed to track two lambing periods in a row of the same batch Longlin ewes, studied the changes of feed intake, body weight gain, reproductive performance, blood biochemical indexes, blood hormones caused by three different Chinese herbal prescriptions, Tai Chan Dosage, Mixed Dosage and Xiao Dao Dosage. And probed into the advantages and disadvantages of productivities and blood indexes, offer rationale in the production of Longlin goats pregnancy when added Chinese herbs into feeds.Using single factorial experiment design and combining with the ewes was fit in,39early pregnant Longlin goats, which interbred by the3Nubian ram randomly, with average body weight of37.844±1.0700kg were allocated to4unequal replications, for10in Tai Chan Group,11in Mixed Group,8in Xiao Dao Group,10in Control Group. The addition of varies kinds of herbs in3different experiments are10g/d per ewe. There were3stages in the experiment, the first one was preliminary feeding period, the second one was the first phase of the trial, the third one was the second phase of the trial. Before the second pregnancy, every were interbred by the4Nubian ram randomly.Trial results:1. Feed intake in the first phase of trail:Xiao Dao Group was higher than Mixed Group and the Controls(P<0.05), Mixed Group was higher Tai Chan Group(P<0.05), No significant difference among Tai Chan Group, Mixed Group, and the Controls(P>0.05).2. Body weight gain:the second mouth weight in first trial phase and the fifth mouth weight in second trial phase were higher than Tai Chan Group, Mixed Group, and the Controls(P<0.05),but the3later group had not significant difference(P>0.05). On the foundation of initial weight, the second mouth weight, the fifth mouth weight of Xiao Dao Group had increased30.82%,46.05%, other groups were5.37%-24.73%; on the foundation of the second month weight, the fifth mouth weight had increased11.64%-15.41%.3. The reproductive performance of the first pregnancy in experiment:Only had Xiao Dao Group abortion; the rate during the estrous period in Xiao Dao Group were62.5%,was the least one, others were no less than90%; lamb birth survival rates were no less than87.5%; lambing rates were1.25-1.7; Xiao Dao Group higher than the controls about lamb birth weight(P<0.05), Tai Chan Group, Mixed Group and Xiao Dao Group, Controls were stable separately(P>0.05). The reproductive performance of the second pregnancy in experiment:there were no abortion among the four groups; the rates during the estrous period was same to mating rates of ewes, were70%-81.82%; lamb birth survival rates were100%; lambing rates were1.71-1.78; Tai Chan Group, Mixed Group and Xiao Dao Group were higher than the Controls(P<0.05),but others had nothing significant difference(P>0.05).4. Blood indexes of the first trial phase:Besides DBIL of Mixed Group and Xiao Dao Group were higher than Tai Chan Group(P<0.05), others were stable (P>0.05). Blood indexes of the second trial phase:TBIL and A/S of Mixed Group were higher than others; ALB of Xiao Dao Group was higher than Mixed Group and the Controls, Mixed Group and Xiao Dao Group were higher than the Controls; GLB of Tai Chan Group and Xiao Dao Group were higher than Mixed Group; ALT of Mixed Group and Xiao Dao Group were higher than Tai Chan Group; AST/ALT of Tai Chan Group was higher than Xiao Dao Group; BUN of the Control group was higher than Tai Chan Group; CH of Mixed Group was higher than Xiao Dao Group; HDL of Mixed Group was higher than Tai Chan Group and Xiao Dao Group; LDL OF Tai Chan Group and Mixed Group were higher than Xiao Dao Group; BG of Tai Chan Group, Xiao Dao Group and the Controls were higher than Mixed Group (P<0.05), but other indexes in each groups were stable (P>0.05).Trial conclusions:1. Xiao Dao Group could improve feed intake, and Mixed Group and Tai Chan Group had the tendency to improve it; Xiao Dao Group had the most efficient to improve the body weight gain, and in the next place were Tai Chan Group, Mixed Group, the Controls.2. Fed with Tai Chan Dosage, Mixed Dosage and Xiao Dao Dosage can improve to the reproductive performance, but the usage amount and times of Xiao Dao Dosage must have the future research.3. The three trial groups had great effect on liver function; Tai Chan Group had great effect on kidney function; Mixed Group had great effect on the regulation of blood fat, had opposite effect on blood sugar, the dose of estrogen and progesterone in blood serum had not much effect on pregnant ewes.
