Partial Characterisetion Of Pigeon Paramyxovirus And Immunoproplylaxis And The Therapeutic Investigation

Pigeon Paramyxovirus 1 (PPMV-1), so-called pigeon plague, caused by ND virus (NDV), is a serious illness of poultry. It has a high morbidity and mortality. The clinical signs were characterized by bilateral conjunctivitisand neurological. It's the biggest trouble maker of the development of thePoultry industry, in recentyears, ND bacterion was used to cmtrol the prevalence,but,the effect was not prominence,30%feeding Pigeon was dead.Again, it has not effective medication and prevention in abord.Chickembryo inoculability and culture were used to make the PPMV-Ⅰ(HT-40) to adapting virus in chickembryo.Three different size plaques(HT40-1, HT40-2, HT40-3)were depurated from PPMV-Ⅰ(HT40)by using plaque depuration technique. The diarneter of the three plaques were 2～2.2mm, 1.5～1.8mm and 0.8～1.2mm, MDT, ICPI, IVPI .Immunogenicity and other biological proper test proved that the small plaque' s toxicity was weaked and have good immunogenicity, it can be developed to vaccinal strain.It was proved that the HT40-3 has high security, immunity, efficacity by immunoprophylaxis test,security test and efficacity test,and it has not reaction to chicking .After inoculating.pigeon can defect virusattact,so that ,HT40-3 can be developed to special PPMV-I bacterion.Otherthen, the CPE inhibition test was used to detect the sensitivity effect of PPMV-Ⅰto the six medicine of ragscanth, poly: c, inter feron, ribavirin, chondroitin and collagen. The CEF cellular activity was tested by Neutral Red Assay to evaluate the viral sensitivity effect of the PPMV-Ⅰto medicine when virus invading CEF and reproducing in the CEF.The Reed-Muench test was used to evaluate the effect of the six medicine on direct resisting virus.The result showed that tragscanth,poly:c and interferon inhibited the virus invadeing cell significantly, ragscanth, poly:c,interferon ,ribavirin and chondroitin inhibited the virus reproducting in the cell significantly, and all the six medicine can inhibited the virus directly.In addition there were certain dose-effect relationships.Poly:c, ribavirin and ragscanth have defent and treatment to PPMV-Ⅰby using sensitive effect test,defectiveprotectraterate was 100%,35%, 15% ,curerate was 25%, 15%,40%.It was proved that defectiverate excelled curerate, interferon have the best cureeffect.Medcine defective process was weaved and used to clinic.
