Managing forestry data is characterized by data-intensiveness, computing intensiveness,distribution of resources, and heterogeneous information systems. Based on Grid computing,Digital Forestry Platform (DFP) puts forward a technical system including informationacquirement, processing to application is proposed. The research and development of DFPbrings great changes to traditional data managing in forestry sector, realizes complementarity,cooperation and resource sharing among various application systems and optimizes theenvironment of recombinating forestry data resources. But there are a few key problems inprocess of recombination the data resources。The target of the DFP is also varied fruitful general information management systemservicing for all levels of forestry decision-making management branches is developed throughintroducing 3S technology and transforming the traditional forest resources managing andmonitoring methods, which is based on 3s technology platform and combines the fruits ofspace graphical information, remote sensing image data, statistical data, model forecastingtogether. In the process of serving the deicing-making branches, data handling is different fromre-handling, therefore, DFP not only includes data acquirement and storage platform, but alsodata exhibition. From this point of view, a set of general report system integrated with DFP isnecessary, which can save the customizing time of reports and reduce the requirement to thereport customizing personnelAfter the research on software engineering, components technology, database technology,DFP general report modal is established. In the end the original system of DFP general reportimplemented and a set of rules is put forward according to the requirement of forestry fields.The main contents of the research are given as following:(1) The basic character and supporting environment of DFP were analyzed. Thesupporting technologies of DFP were summarized. Also the existed unified authenticationsystem was analyzed in this paper.(2) Based on the feature of DFP and guiding principles of the access information of DFP,DFP general report model and the thoughts of report customizing, exhibition separating andmulti-platform is proposed. (3) The author makes brief introduction on the current situation of software developmentfirstly. Then the focus is put on how to realize General Purpose Report System on DigitalForestry Platform (GPRSDFP) development based on components technologies. Then problemis considered from the facets of Producer Reuse and Consumer Reuse, put forward theGPRSDFP develop process model and divide it into three sub process: Business modeling andanalyzing; Architecture analyzing, designing, instancing and system assembling, integrating;Component building and managing. This model is an iterative Increment development processof knowledge drawing and analyses refining.(4) This paper considers the research of the integrated software engineering environment,that is, component based DFP, which supports the component-assembled development of theGPRSDFP. It was divided into three parts: business-modeling platform, integrated developingplatform and component library managing platform. It discusses the main features and functionrequirements of the tools in the construct-engineering platform; thereby it provides the basicidea about the design and implementation of these tools.(5) After component analyzing based on application requirement, a model and schema ofunified associated integration data's global logical organization is built; processing data in thedatabase becomes transparent, including data access query and acquire; report can be made anddata in the report can be retrieved automatically in terms of business logical languagedescribing semanteme of data.(6) According to forestry fields business logical rules definition standard, aiming atvarious forestry business systems, a set of general business logical coding system andregulation is provided, the conception of time-dimension, unit-dimension, index-dimension isproposed straightforwardly. Meanwhile, an application system of decision-making supportapplication on forestry is developed based on business rules, report making system and systemexhibition.Finally, this paper summaries the groundwork and puts forward the further work.Descriptions of GPRSDFP can be used as an important reference for forestryinformationization and it supposed by this study would play more and more important rolewith forest management and decision-making。...
