Frankliniella intonsa (Trybom) is an important pest in agriculture and forestry. It can cause severe damage on many kinds of crops, vegetables and flowers. The host plant is extremely widespread, including the herb and the woody plants, which bring difficulty for the species correct identification. Therefore, further studying its differentiation mechanism and the condition, which has important theory significance in riching the biological evolution theory and the species correct division, has practical significance in integrated control. In this paper, molecular marker used mitochondrial cytochrome oxidaseⅠgene fragment, for Frankliniella intonsa on eleven host plants, Zephyranthes candida, Trifolium repens, Forsythia suspense, Lagerstroe miaindica, Lycopersicon esculentum Mill, Oxalis corniculata L., Brassica chinensis Linn., Hibiscus syriacus L., Canna generalis, Luffa cylindrica (L.) Roem., Rosa chinensis Jacq., first extracted genome DNA, then a pair conservation primer used to amplify COⅠgene fragment of mitochondrial DNA, the fragement is 433bp long, recombined the fragement and pGEM-T easy vector, finally cloned to E. coli DH5α, selected clone and mensurated sequence.Analyzed the DNA sequence with software DNAstar and obtained genetic distance and genetic similarity of Frankliniella intonsa mtDNA COⅠamong host plants, sequences data revealed, its sequence variation scope is 0 to 4bp,it is extremely small, the scope is 0~0.29%; genetic distance scope is 0 to 0.009, the average genetic distance is 0.0029; the genetic similar scope is 99.1~100%. The longest genetic distance is 0.009 between Hibiscus syriacus L. and Rosa chinensis Jacq., the genetic distance is 0.009 among Zephyranthes candida, Trifolium repens, Lagerstroe miaindica, Brassica chinensis Linn., Canna generalis, Luffa cylindrica (L.) Roem. Consequently, Frankliniella intonsa mtDNA COⅠhad little difference among these hosts at the same place.
