Effect Of Earthworm On Nutritional Level And Growth Of Mango (CV: Sijimimang)

The test were carried out in GUANGXI BAISE Nation AgriculturalSci-tech Zone with sijimimang in 2005-2006. The trees planted in 2002,Earthworm of Jingnong No.6 was inoculated with organic matter (chickenmanure, pig manure, factory wooden dregs).The objective was to reveal theeffect of earthworm on the nutrition and growth of sijimimang.The results with leaves analysis showed: The N contents were increasedfrom September to December. The N contents of leaves were the highest whenblossom bud began to spout(the time were middle and last third of December).The N contents in leaves treated by earthworm were 1.647%, and were1.473 % by CK, increased 12% by earthworm. The N contents in leavesgenerally decreased from January to April in next year. The P contents inleaves increased from September to next February. The P contents of leaveswere the highest when beginning blossom (the time were middle and last third of February). The P contents in leaves treated by earthworm were 0.146%,and were 0.135% by CK, increased 8% by earthworm. The P contents inleaves generally decreased from March to April in next year. The K, Ca, Mgcontents were increased from September to November. The K, Ca, Mgcontents were the highest at last third of November. It was not obvious at theK, Ca, Mg contents by earthworm. The K, Ca, Mg contents in leavesgenerally decreased from December to next February, increased from Marchto April in next year.The crown of sijimimang could clearly promoted enlargement byearthworm, the total of twig shoots and leaves increased markedly too. Thediameter of tree-crown treated by earthworm were 1.2 times to CK. The totalof Twig shoots and leaves were 2.2 times to CK.
