Leaf age diagnose technique is a new rice cultivation technique developed on the theory of organ development in pace with organ elongation and the theory of leaf age model, which is the cultivation technique system of leaf age diagnose, forecast, adjustment and control. From rice practice production in Heilongjiang province, the experiment on density, fertilizer amount and their effect on yield under fertilization method of leaf age diagnose technique and conventional fertilization method were conducted on Suijing serious rice varieties in 2005 and 2006. The experiment found out the best density, suitable fertilizer amount and their ration and best leaf age for water and fertilizer management, and then forming a set of high yield cultivation technique. The experiment result showed as follows:As for Suijing No.3, the yield reached the highest was 9739.1kg/hm2 and 8426.7kg/hm2. When density treatment was C3 and fertilizer amount was D3. Leaf age diagnose method was 3% and 7% higher than CK. Respectively.As for Suijing No.4 the yield reached the highest was 9714.9kg/hm~2 and 8090.0kg/hm~2. When density treatment was C3 and fertilizer amount was D3. Leaf age diagnose method was 14% and 6% higher than CK. Respectively.As for Suijing No.7, the yield reached the highest was 9144.5kg/hm~2 and 8402.2kg/hm2. When density treatment was C2 and fertilizer amount was D2. Leaf age diagnose method was 11% and 3% higher than CK. Respectively.The yield of leaf age diagnose method of Suijing No.3, No.4 and No.7 was 3.5%, 6.7% and 4% higher than CK. Respectively.The best leaf age for top dressing: The leaf age for top dressing at tillering stage was divided into two times, one was at 4.0 leaves stage, and the another was at at 5.4-6.0 leaves stage for Suijing No.3, 5.7-6.1 leaves stage for Suijing no.4 and 6.0-6.7 leaves stage for Suijing No.7. The leaf age stage for transferring from vegetation growth into younger spike development was 7.1-8.0, 8.1-9.0 and 9.1-10.0 respectively to Suijing no.3, Suijing no.4 and Suijing no.7.The leaf age of spike growing was 9.1-9.5, 10.1-10.5 and 11.1-11.5 respectively to Suijing no.3, Suijing no.4 and Suijing no.7. The fertilizer management of grain filling stage: when leaf color is normal, top dressing is not needed, when the color of flag leaf is greatly lightened, it is recommended to supply with granule fertilizer,The best leaf age for water management: The leaf age stage of tillering stage is 4-7, 4-8 and 5-9 respectively to to Suijing no.3, Suijing no.4 and Suijing no.7. The leaf age stage for transferring from vegetation growth into younger spike development was 7.9, 810 and 9.1-11 respectively to Suijing no.3, Suijing no.4 and Suijing no.7. The leaf age of spikelets differentiation is 9-10.5, 10.1-11.6 and 10.8-12.6 respectively to Suijing no.3, Suijing no.4 and Suijing no.7. Water layer management in grain filling stage, Rice entered later growth and development period after heading. The grain number per spike and 1000 grain weight is determined in this period.
