This thesis takes the ontolggical knowledge database on the decision-making of forest firefight for example to research, According to semantic web and theories and methods concernedontology, which is used to express and share knowledge, the author researched how to establishontology mode in the field of forest fire fight decision-making, established the ontologicalknowledge database on the decision-making of forest fire fight by organizing scatteredknowledge on forest fire fight decision-making, and then form the analytic system ofontological knowledge database to relieve or diminish the confusion in concepts and terms, so asto share the knowledge based on knowledge system and improve the ability to solve problems.As the following shows:First, elaborate the ontology concerned the ontological knowledge database on the decision-making of forest fire fight forest fire and progress in knowledge database and discuss thelanguage and methods used to form the ontological knowledge database on the decision-makingof forest fire fight, preparing for carrying out the prototype system.Second, combining the characteristics of the forest fire fight decision-making field,bring out the methods of establish the mode of forest fire fight field and embody theontology; further discuss the storage of ontology knowledge system and realize the lastingstorage with relation database.
