The spatial analysis is one of the important parts and basic characteristics of studying resources and dynamic analysis of landscape.Based on the materials from the aviation photograph, forest resources distribution and forest management investigation data in Maoershan Experiment Forest Farm in 1958 and in 2004 as well as applying overlay analysis of the software GIS of ArcInfo, the thesis systematically and elaborately analyzes the dynamic change of forest resources in Maoershan Experiment Forest Farm as well as analyzes the present situation of forest landscape in Maoershan from the perspective of composition, structure and distribution pattern of landscape. What's more, the forest landscape dynamic change process is analyzed in detail. Based on landscape dynamic process, the simple trend and the typical trend surface analysis to the volume of the forest in 2004 have been carried out. The result of the current research provides the reliable guarantee for analyzing the regional and the whole change data, as well as the sustainable development of this area's forest resources and for the tree farm to make forest management decision correctly. During this process, following results and evolvement were gained in the paper:Firstly, the analysis is made on the forest resources dynamic change and the dynamic analysis is carried on the forest farm region, each kind of land utilization structure, each stand type age group structure and the forest structure. The result shows that the forest coverage percentage rose from 60.5ï¼…in 1958 to 85.0ï¼…due to the increase of forest usage land, woodland and nursery land as well as the apparent decrease of sparse woodland, newly planted woodland and brushland; With the area of plowland, denizen area increasing, land area without forest, area of river are descending; the volume of living trees increased totally from 880,000 m~3 to 2, 703, 000 m~3 with the net increase of 207.1ï¼…; it is estimated that the wetland will completely vanish in 50 years. The simple and the typical trend surface analysis of the volume of the forest in 2004 have been carried out. It is indicated that the spatial distribution of the forest resources from southwest to northwest increases progressively.Secondly, based on the division of the landscape type, this thesis carries on the analysis of the landscape essential factor composition and the non-uniformity; then uses the landscape to analyze the forest landscape mottling dynamic change characteristics.It is shown that the quantity of landscape mottling increases obviously; the mottling average area is reducing; the mottling density index is bigger and bigger; the stave degree and the landscape non-uniformity are higher and higher; the whole landscape develops in a symmetrical way. The mottling shape is more and more irregular; the mottling geometry shape also tends to complication. The landscape type in the research region has been increasing during the recent 46 years.
