The Digital Elevation Mode (DEM) has attracted great attention and been widelyapplied into many domains since it was published. At present, the DEM has already become akind of basic data product which has independent standard and intention, and has been morefrequently used to replace the description of the landform by contour line in topographic map.Based on the theory of the Bundle Block Adjustment, this paper used VirtuoZo software tointerpolate the controlling points by aerotriangulation method for 176 charts, totally about 13sea-routes of the trial forestry centre in Maoershan of NEFU in 2003, and make the DEMcorresponding to a topographic map with a 1:10000 scale, at last make the Digital ElevationModel (DEM) and Digital Orthogonal Map (DOM) with the 1:10000 scale.This paper focus on the research of key techniques and the flow of crafts in making DEMof forestry centre using digital photogrammetry. Because the landform of forestry changesgreatly, and is covered with large number of Vegetation, the ground can hardly be seen in theairspace photos, which brings about lots of barriers in making the DEM especially for theprecise one. The objective of the research is to make Orthogonal Map, extract DigitalElevation Model (DEM), and use them in layout and management of the forest resource bydesigning the special plan and technique routine. Through analysing the present data andinformation, manpower, financial and material resources in data facture will be optimised.During this process, the following wok will be finished:1. Analysing the existing information to confirm the plan of setting reference point.2. Using the module of Automatic Aerotriangulation Module AATM in VirtuoZo NT tochoose the point and using the PAT-B of Bundle Block Adjustment software to calculateadjustment. For some singular points, recalculate again after manual work to get the results ofthe aerotriangulation interpolation3. Using 2 kinds of methods to design DEM data, and one is the auto-generation withsome manual work, the other is to generate the Digital Elevation Model through getting agreat deal points and part line among gathered data. Meanwhile, DOM will be designed in thisprocess.Finally, we collected enough elevation points as the checking points, validated the DEMand got the conclusion...
