Two compounds were isolated from the dried leaves of Julans regia. There chemcial structures were elucidated as juglone(1), kaempferol(2),respectively, by means of spetroscopic analysis(UV, IR, HPLC-MS, 1HNMR),chemical reaction, and compared by the spectral data of the known compounds.Extraction technique studies had shown:4%NaOH and 70% ethanol solution extract material had better poison to Plutella xylostella L. than other soution's, and 48h Correction mortality: 55.2±3.2%, 58.2±2.2%.The supersonic extract method got most active components, when the original ingredients to the content 100mg/mL and 48h Correction mortality was 67.5±3.1%.But the drench-wash extract method obtained more ointment from Julans regia leaves(Ointment yield:4.13±0.043%).Bioassay in lab, the 70% ethanol extract material and compound 1 had shown high poison to Plutella xylostella L.and Aphis gossypii glover, the 70% ethanol extract showed excellent fungicidal activities against Rhizoctonia solani Kuhn, Sclerotinia sclerotiorum de Bary, Fusariume graminrarum Schw.(Ec50:11.72mg/mL, 14.08mg/mL, 29.6mg/mL) ,weak effect against Fusarium graminearum Schw, Fusarium oxysporun f. sp. Lycopersici and Fusarium oxysporum Schl. f. sp.,and inactive to remain stains.Compound 1 showed excellent pesticidal activities against Plutella xylostella L (48h Correction mortality:90.0% at dosage of 7.5μg/ml) and Aphis gossypii gloverr(48h Correction mortality:70.5% at dosage of 15μg/ml).And LC50 values (48h)was 2.01μg/ml against Plutella xylostella L.Compound 2 showed excellent fungicidal activities against Rhizoctonia solani Kuhn and Fusarium graminearum Schw, Ec50 was 46.89μg/mL and 56.23μg/mL.
