The paper surveyed Cenococcum geophilum Fr. resource in the feild of Big Xingan Mountain, Cifeng region, and Helan Mountain, collected the root sample and rhizosphere soil; the root sample was observed by microscope; respectively Selected the root tips and sclerotial bodies with different region and different host, and then extracted the general DNA, analyze with polymerase chain reaction - restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP). The results indicated that,(1) Cenococcum geophilum Fr. had wide host, such as pinus sylvestris L var.mongolica, Quercus mongolica Fiseh., Alnus japonica Sieb, Ostropsis davidina Dence in Bull, Populus davidiana, Larix gmelini Rupr., Bectula platyphylla Suk., picea meyeri Rehd, Pinus tabulaeformis Carr., Salix matsadana, Ulmus pumila L., Acer L. and so on.(2)The morphological haraccteristic of mycorrhizal was close among different species in different area, and was homology in same species in different area.(3)The average mycorrhizal infected rate was counted, mycorrhizal infected rate of broadleaf trees was higher than that of needle trees.(4)PCR-RFLP marker revealed that the samples came from the same host had close relative connection, the samples came from the same host were clustered in the same group.
