| The cashmere comes from the second hair follicle of Cashmere goat and is a good material in textile. The quantity and quality of different kinds of cashmere mainly depend on genetics.Genomic DNA of several kinds of goats and reindeer were extracted From blood, then fragment of KAP6,7,8 gene were cloned and sequenced. Sequence analysis revealed that nucleotides sequences were high degree of conservation during different kinds of goats and reindeer, but still had differences. Sequence analysis revealed that the differences of nucleotides and encode amino acids sequences maybe were the important reasons for hair characters .cRNA probes with DIG of nine members of arbas cashmere goat KAP6,7,8 were made in vitro,and were in situ hybridized with the adult and fetal skins of arbas cashmere goat. The results revealed that KAP6,7,8 mRNA were expressed in cortex of both primary and secondary hair follicles. KAP6-1.5 and KAP8-2 were also expressed in internal root sheath of primary hair follicle discontinuitily. It demonstrated that KAP6,7,8 were important structure proteins of wool and cashmere cortex,and cells of cortex were keratinizated by KAP6,7,8.KAP6,7,8 participated in the synthesis of wool and cashmere directly, affected the physico-chemical property of pelage. |
