The experiment used wide-popularized cotton cultivars "Xiangzamian 3 and Zhong29" as material, in 2004-2005. During the two years, hanged sign, collected cotton, measured fiber quality.Combining with local meteorological material, in the period ofbloom. The relationship between 4 meteorological factors and the main fiber qualitycharacters of cotton were invested by using the interpretative methods of greysystematic theory and the gradual regression analysis. The trial Analysed the timedistribution of cotton fiber quality under high-yield cultivation and the impact ofmeteorological factors to major economic traits. The main research results are asfollows:1. The variation coefficient of micronaire was the largest, caused by condition ofspecial ecosystem and cultivation, however the fiber length and uniformity havebetter stability.2.The best cotton fiber quality was in the last ten days of July and the first ten daysof August,during2004-2005.3. The variation coefficient of temperature and illumination hour to fiber lengthetc.is the biggest. The effects of rainfall and air humidity relatively less. Thevariation coefficient of air humidity and rainfall to elongation rate is bigger thanthat of temperature.4. The multiple score of temperature and illumination hour to fiber length etc.ispositive; is negative to elongation rate. The multipe score of rainfall to fiber lengthetc is positive in a certain range, but it is negative over the range.5.Under the condition of special ecosystem and cultivation in Hunan Province, when the temperature is at the range of 30-31degrees, illumination hour 6-10hours, air humidity 65-74ï¼…, rainfall 2-4mm, the fiber quality is the best.6. The soil moisture content not enough or too much makes the fiber shorter etc.The best soil humidity is 65-70ï¼….7. Temperature and illumination hour are positive to single boll weight and seedindex. Rainfall is rarely positive to single boll weight. Rainfall is positive to lintpercentage, illumination hour is negative; rainfall is positive to lint index, illumination hour and temperature are negative to lint index.
