Abstract Pugionium cornutum (L.) Gaertn seeds from Yimeng, Inner Mongolia were used as experimental material in this research.The phenological periods of Pugionium cornutum (L.) Gaertn in second year were studied.The results are showed below, The toltal growth phase of Pugionium cornutum (L.) Gaertn in second year is successively divided into six stages:regreening stage,bolting stage,bud stage,flowering stage,fructescence and the stage of seed ripeness, and the days of each stage respectively go through 41d, 27 d, 31 d, 42 d, 37 d.The toltal growth phase is 156士4d. Effective accumulated temperature (≥5℃) is 3331.6℃, The most suitable relative degree of bumidity is from 31% to 59%. Meanwhile, the dynamic variation of nutritive substance of Pugionium cornutum (L.) Gaertn was studied. Primarily determing the contents of soluble protein,soluble carbohydrate,dry matter and grease at different stage. Dynamic variation rule of nutritive substance of Pugionium cornutum (L.) Gaertn was elaborated.
