Cistanche deserticola is belonged to Orobanchaceae which is a perennial parasitical plant. Haloxylon ammodendron is a host plant for it. The seeds of C. deserticola can germinat to germ tube and form to be haustorium in the roots near of H. ammodendron, and it assimilat nutrition with haustorium that invade the host plant for keep oneself growth. In order to make clear the mechanisms of inducement by physic signals on the seed germination for C. deserticola, we used the tissue culture technique and analyzed the influence of seed germination in C. deserticola by induced in the chilling treatment of high/low temperature and ion beam, research germination rate and time of C. deserticola seeds and conformation of germ tube.The results of this study are below:1. The activity index of C. deserticola seed is between 70%-80%. Inoculating the seed with husk and without husk on medium, the result is that the seed without husk could germination and with husk could not; The seeds treated by soaked in GA at high concentration also couldn't germination. It proved that the dormancy of the seeds probably caused by the husk, and maybe there are some bourgeon restrain substance in husk.2. Various temperature and extraneous plant growth regulation substance play an active part in promoting seed germination rate. The most optimal results is stratified seeds were treated with high one hour and low temperature 4℃one week for two time cycle, then they were sown on MS medium supplemented with IBA 2.0 mg·L-1+6-BA 0.5 mg·L-1 +GA 0.5 mg·L-1, germination rate may reach 17.8%.3. Using N+ beam the C. deserticola seeds, induce by extraneous plant growth regulation substance, seed germination rate is highest, it may reach 23.3%; N+ beam can promote the C. deserticola seeds germination when N+dose is 800-1000.4. To studied the seeds and germ tube formation of C. deserticola which are the slice up of paraffine.The result are anatomy character of the C. deserticola seeds and it's germ tube.The result showed of experiment: temperature and hormone and ion beam can induce the seeds germination of C. deserticola . For expatiated the mechanism of release from dormancy and advancment germination of C. deserticola seeds under physical signals provide theory gist. It have realism significance for settle the problems that C. deserticola seeds germination difficulty and germination rate low.
