Correlation Studies Between Reproductive Characteristics And Seed Abortion Of Ceratoides Arborescens

The thesis studied on correlation between reproductive characteristics and seed abortion of Ceratoides arborescens. The contents were composed of wild and cultivation Ceratoides arborescens community pollen viability,pollen germination rate,stigma characteristics and receptive,embryonal development,seed setting rate.And Geitonogam,xenogamous and natural pollination three pollination modes affect seed development. Then seed abortion,low seed setting rate,wild community serious degeneration of Ceratoides arborescens were studied.The differential Ceratoides arborescens community seed setting rate was tested. The results showed seed setting rate of wild communities were obvious lower than cultivation communities.There were obvious differences in geitonogam,xenogamous and natural pollination seed setting rates. Geitonogam seed setting rate(81.53%) was significant lower than xenogamous (92.6%)and natural pollination(88.6%).The pollen life,pollen viability of Ceratoides arborescens were tested. The results showed that pollen viability was 95% above and can last 6 days. The best pollination time can last 1-4 days. There were no correlation between pollen life and seed setting rate. It did not have questions of the pollen abortion and short-lived. It did not have microspore growth barrier.By fluorescence microscopy, pollen germination rate in three pollination modes was observed. The pollen germination peak was after pollination 3-4hour. The pollen germination rate reaches 90% above. The results showed that three pollination modes were no obvious differences. Ceratoides arboresens pollen can germination in different experiment areas. It did not have the pollen and stigma recognition barrier.The results showed that Ceratoides arboresens stigmas had receptivity when stigma length was 1.04-1.09mm. Stigmas receptivity lasts 6-7d.Pollination test showed Ceratoides arboresens can develop globular embryo after pollination 10 days. And embryo rate was higher than seed setting rate. The results showed that embryo abortion happened likely after globular embryo.The results showed Ceratoides arboresens wild community serious degeneration. Seed abortion may be affected wild community.But seed abottion were no relationship on pollen,stigma development and insemination. The results showed that seed abortion happened likely later seed development. The vegetation density reduces. Geitonogam may be one of the wild community serious degeneration's reasons.
