In order to investigate current situation of S.pullorum infection in the Guanzhong area, the chickens selected randomly were exsanguinated.Their sera were separated and tested by method of PAT. The results showed that 305 sera samples, which were collected from 20 fowl-runs in 6 areas: Baoji,Xianyang,Wugong,Yangling,Xi'an and Weinan, had 88 positive samples, and the positive rate was 29%. Among the total, 65 sera from 4 parent generation farms had 13 positive sera, and the positive rate was 20%;and 240 sera from 16 commodity generation farms had 75 positive sera, and the positive rate was 31%. Livers and spleens of the sick and dead chicken from the above districts were asepticly gathered, and 2 strains among the separated bacterial strains by the bacterium separation and identification were proved to be Salmonella Pullorosis. At last the 2 strains were respectively carried on assay of medicine sensitivity. Its results indicated that the 2 strains were sensitive to Kanamycin, enrofloxacin, norfloxacin and cefotaxime. To solve the problem of drug residues being attributed to the wide use of antibiotic drugs for prevention and treatment of Salmonella pullorum disease, the study used disinfection technology of ozone to prevent and cure Salmonella pullorum disease. The results showed that the positive rate of treatment was 16% less than control. In conclusion, the positive rate in the area of Guanzhong was rather high, and Salmonella pullorum disease in the area of Guanzhong can be provented and cured with Kanamycin, enrofloxacin, norfloxacin and cefotaxime; the disinfection technology of ozone can control Salmonella pullorum disease very well and reduce drug residues。...
