Evaluation On The Safety Of Two Kinds Of Plant Oil

According to methods of the acute toxicity test in "Pesticide Registration toxicology test methods" and assessment methods on non-target organisms safety in "chemical pesticides environmental safety evaluation test criteria" .The paper separately tested the safety of essential oils extracte from Artemisia annua L. and Artemisia scoparia Waldst. et Kit.. The results were as follows:1. The results of acute toxicity test of two essential oils were as follows:Acute oral toxicity test, LD₅₀ of Artemisia annua oil and Artemisia scoparia oil was 3616.59 mg/ kg, 1617.34mg/kg, respectly. The toxicity of Artemisia scoparia oil was slightly higher than that of Artemisia annua oil .Acute skin test, the mice treated with the two tested oil in 2000 mg / kg group had no deaths, Artemisia annua oil and Artemisia scoparia oil belonged to the level of low toxicity.Acute inhalation experiments, At the concentration of the 2000 mg/m3 all experimental animals treated with two plant essential oils for 2h were not dead.Artemisia annua oil and Artemisia scoparia oil belonged to the level of low toxicity.Treated for 14d through the acute skin irritation test,and 48h through the eye irritation test , experimental animals had no dead.2. Results of two plant essential oils on non-target organisms safety evaluation were as follows:LD₅₀ of Artemisia annua oil and Artemisia scoparia oil for the acute toxicity was3570.56 mg/kg, 2709.98mg/kg, respectively The toxicity of Artemisia scoparia oil was slightly higher than that of Artemisia annua oil .The acute toxicity test results of Artemisia annua oil and Artemisia scoparia oil showed that: two plant oils for bees belong to the level of low toxicity. LD₅₀ of Artemisia annua oil and Artemisia scoparia oil was 2625 ug / peak, 1224 ug / peak. The toxicity of Artemisia scoparia oil was slightly higher than that of Artemisia annua oil . LC₅₀of Artemisia annua was 686.56 mg/L, Artemisia scoparia oil was 363.78 / L, respectively. The toxicity of Artemisia scoparia oil was slightly higher than that of Artemisia annua oil .The toxicity tests of essential oils for ladybug,LC₅₀ of Artemisia annua and Artemisia scoparia was 0.21 ul / head, LC₅₀ 0.07 ul / head. The toxicity of Artemisia scoparia oil was higher than that of Artemisia annua oil .Smoked law scrapping of the test, LC₅₀ of Artemisia annua and Artemisia scoparia was 4.2 ul / bottle, 21 ul / bottles. The toxicity of Artemisia scoparia oil was higher than that of Artemisia annua oil . Red carp acute toxicity test, LC₅₀ of Artemisia annua oil and Artemisia scoparia oil was66.57 ppm, 42.59ppm,respectly.Two plant essential oils are toxic to fish and belonged to the level of low toxicity. The toxicity of Artemisia scoparia oil was higher than that of Artemisia annua oil .The toxicity of two plants oils to Trichogramma belonged to the level of moderately toxicity.
