This paper can be divided into two parts. First part, the design and implementation of the GIS-based subcompartment and factor analysis system (SMFAS) is grounded on System Theory and GIS software Design ideas; latter part, using the second class information of forest investigation from Boluo, Guangdong Province, the study is about correlation between the stand description factors such as height, diameter, age, number of per hectare and volume of per hectare on the SMFAS platform. The process of building stand growth model can update the data and make recommendations to sustainable forest management.GIS-based Subcompartment Management and Factor Analysis System (SMFAS) is the combination of geographic information technology and forest resources management technology, utilizing the modernization and scientific of the forest management. By adopting ArcEngine component technology, SMFAS, a easy-to-use management system, can realize the real-time updates of data changes in forest resources, thematic maps and tables of forest resources, analysis relation between the stand factors and fit inter-related or non-linear model. The software users include forest resources managers and Primary workers. System module is based on the system design goals, following practical and convenient principle. The system involve four modules, namely the basic functions of GIS, mathematical statistics module based on Matlab external interface , data statistics and user rights management module. The developing of GIS-based Subcompartment Management and Factor Analysis System in Boluo Pinus elliottii of Guangdong province just exalt the forest resources management level. After discussing the relation between stand description factors, the paper build five non-linear model, for instance ,Richard, Michael Schumacher, the relative growth equation, logistic and single molecular formula, fitting Pinus diameter and volume growth curve, diameter and volume growth multi-variable model. The results show that the relative growth equation which realize the comprehensive update and guidance of unartificial subcompartment data has high accuracy. And it also develop an effective basis and information on the Pinus production to play a positive role in further study. Last, but not the least, in order to make sustainable development of forest resources real, the author discuss the problems and countermeasure of protection it through studying the current situation of Pinus .
