QTL Mapping Of Flag Leaf Stage, Heading Date And Photoperiod-thermo Sensitive Genic Male Sterility Of Wheat

In this study, with 289 of doubled-haploid(DH)population derived from'BS20×Fu3', the population was planted for two years in Beijing and Fuyang, Anhui province, and the field survey of flag leaf stage, heading date and seed setting was conducted. The method of composite interval mapping (CIM) was used for QTL mapping of flag leaf stage and heading date as well as Photoperiod-thermo Sensitive Genic Male Sterility, The results are as follows:(1) Three major QTLs for flag leaf stage were located on chromosome 1BL, 1DL and 6BL, and their general contributions were 4.47%-15.73%, 6.27%-7.03% and 3.34%-5.03% respectively. For heading date, four major QTLs were located on chromosome 1BL, 1DL, 4AL and 6BL, and their general contributions were 10.72%-13.6%, 8.53%-19.98%, 6.97%-8.47% and 4.93%-7.38% respectively. The QTLs on 1BL, 1DL and 6BL had the same interval for flag leaf stage and heading date, and both were closely linked to cfa2129, cfd65 and Xgwm58, and the genetic distance were 3.05-13.05cM, 0.05-2.05cM and 0.06cM, respectively. The QTL of heading date on 4AL was detected only in planting material of Fuyang of Anhui province, which genetic distance was 1.7cM-6.1cM. A possible explanation for this is that different ecological environment induces varied heterogenic expression. The result that QTLs of flag leaf stage and heading date were consistent may indicate that the gene pleiotropism or genes controlling different characters were closely linked, so the significant phenotypic correlations between flag leaf stage and heading date were verified on molecular level.(2) Applying WinQTLCart and QTLNetwork software to carry out the result of International seed setting rate , Internal seed setting rate and Spikelet seed setting rate, the major QTLs were located on chromosome 2A, 2B, 5D, 6B, 7B and 7DS the interval markers were the near of Xgwm1053, between Xgwm148 and Xgwm374, the near of gdm138, between Cfd266 and Xgwm583, Cfd3 and Xgwm292, the near of Wmc494, between Xgwm111 and Xgwm537, between Xgwm44 and Cfd14, accounting for 8.80%-18.38%,8.56%-13.71%,7.24%-12.12%,18.63%-31.63%,11.65%-15.49%,12.70%-20.22%,4.59-5.34% of the phenotypic variance. And interaction effects in contrast some identified QTLs are universal, especially, interaction effects in QTLs of 7D and others are the most evidently.
