This research was done on a large intensify dairy cow farm in Hohhot. Aim, to evaluate the normal fluctuation of the blood gas of the black-white dairy cow, the blood gas indices of the healthy dairy cows and cows with tuberculosis were determined which were further compared with each other to provide clinical information for the diagnosis of the cow. Methods, 5ml blood samples were taken from 100 cows including 80 healthy ones and 20 with TB with disposable vacuum underpressure heparin anticoagulation tubes once every week which were further examined by blood gas analyzer for 15 blood gas indices including pH value, partial pressure of carbon dioxide(pCO2), partial pressure of oxygen(pO2), base excess(BE), buffer base(BB), HCO3-, carbon dioxide(TCO2), partial pressure of oxygen in alveoli pulmonis artery(AaDOO2), hydrogen ion concentration(cH+), O2 saturation(O2SAT), oxygen content(O2Cont), Alkali ultra(BEact), potassium ion concentration(K+), sodium ion concentration(Na+) and the chlorine ion concentration(Cl-). The results were analyzed by the SPSS11.5 software. The results showed that the pH value of the blood gas of the healthy dairy cow was 7.43±0.03,pO2(mmHg)49.36±9.20,pCO2(mmHg) 45.54±4.77,HCO3-(mmol/L) 29.31±2.49,AaDOO2(mmHg) 30.06±9.52,cH+(nmol/L) 36.89±2.89,O2SAT(%) 84.22±7.00 , O2Cont(Vol/L) 17.74±1.14 , BEact(mmol/L) 4.68±0.18 , BB(mmol/L) 52.35±1.97 , BE(mmol/L) 4.35±1.96 , TCO2(mmol/L) 30.84±2.36 , K+(mmol/L)为4.19±0.38 and the Na+(mmol/L) 135.36±4.43,Cl-(mmol/L) 96.46±3.37。There were significant differences between the indices of pH, pO2, pCO2, AaDOO2, cH+ and K+ of the healthy cows and that with the TB; extremely significant differences between the O2SAT,O2Cont,Na+; no significant differences between the HCO3-,BEact,BB,BE,TCO2,Cl-. The regression models of HCO3- and AaDOO2 were established through pH, pO2 and pCO2 between which there were significant relationship. The conclusion, the physical indices were attained through the determination of the 15 indices of the 80 healthy black-white cows in Hohhot; the determination of the 15 indices of the blood gas of the 20 cows with tuberculosis provides the valuable information for clinical pathology and indicates the trend of the development of the indices of the blood gas of the cows with TB. The blood sample taking from the jugular has little influence to the performance and the pregnancy of the cows, so the result is practical. The study showed that the evaluation of HCO3- and AaDOO2 through pH, pO2 and pCO2 was available.
