Common wild rice is the cultivated rice's ancestor, is a valuable wild germplasm. It is the most important distribution of common wild rice in Guangxi, and has the unique status in rice resources. To date, the distmbution circumstance has been destroyed severely, and distmbution area has been shrinked gradually, and therefore, the common wild rice is in indanger in Guangxi. So, in the present sduty, genetic diversity and contruct core collection of common wild rice in Guangxi were analyzed with SSR marker, which will provide some theory basis for protecting and utilizing common wild rice research in Guangxi. The main results were shown as fellow:There was rich genetic diversity among common wild rice of Guangxi: the twenty-four SSR markers detected a total of 114 alleles, the number of alleles per locus (A) was 4.75, the effective number of alleles (Ae) was 3.0001, the Shannon-weaver information index (I) was 1.1801, the observed heterozygosity(Ho) was 0.1758 and the average expected heterozygosity (He) was 0.6388. The order of the genetic diversity of 9 population common wild rice was: Yongning populatin(YN)>Lingui population(LG)>Fusui population (FS)>Rongxian population(RX)>Gugang population(GG)>Pinnan population (PN)>Guiping population(GP)>Wulitang population(WL)>Bobai population (BB), the average genetic diversity index of 9 population was 0.4916, among them, above average, there were 5 populations: YN,LG,FS,RX,GG.The result of core collection of common wild rice indicated: 5% core collection samples held 89% genetic diversity of common wild rice of Guangxi, and 20% core collection held 94% genetic diversity. And the genetic parameter of 5% core collection was: the number of alleles per locus (A) was 4.25, the effective number of alleles (Ae) was 3.0638, the Shannon-weaver information index (I) was 1.2012 and the average expected heterozygosity (He) was 0.6605, the 5% core collection samples included population's genetic diversity. But the 20% core collection could hold the genetic diversity of all of samples betterly.
