1. Antibacterial test of 16 kinds of Chinese herbal medicines and Medicines to the main pathogens in endometritisThe antibacterial test of 12 kinds of single herbs and 4 kinds of antibiotics to the main pathogens commenly caused endometritis of dairy cows was done, the result indicated that the inhibitory effect of berberine, baicalin and rhubarb were better, and lactic acid ciprofloxacin was the highest sensitivity. According to the single herbs antibacterial effect, antibacterial tests of three different components of compound recipe were designed, the results indicated that compound recipe 2 is rather better in inhibitory effect, which was also named beneficial pregnancy liquid. This test provided a scientific basis for designing of compound drugs.2. Safety evaluation of beneficial pregnancy liquidThe acute toxicity tests and the local stimulation tests were done, the Kunming mice and rabbits as test animals, respectively. the results showed that the LD50 of beneficial pregnancy liquid is more than 64000mg/kg, which has a moderate boost to mucosa and no adverse reaction. This confirmed that beneficial pregnancy liquid can be given through uterus infusion.3. The anti-inflammatory test of "beneficial pregnancy liquid" The Kunming mice as test animals, the inhibition effect of beneficial pregnancy liquid to mice ear edema caused by xylene was observed. The results showed that beneficial pregnancy liquid with the middle dose and the high-dose could significantly inhibit the mice ear edema, which suggests that beneficial pregnancy liquid has anti-inflammatory effect.4. Clinical effect of beneficial pregnancy liquid to endometritis of dairy cows81 dairy cows with different types of endometritis were selected to do clinical trials. The test group were given beneficial pregnancy liquid+ lactic acid ciprofloxacin through uterus infusion and the control group was given oxytetracycline. The results showed that the efficient of the test group was 91.3%, and the cure rate was 88.7%. Compared with the control group, there have no significant difference for the efficient (P> 0.05), but the pregnancy rate of the test group was higher than that of the control group, significantly (P <0.05 ).5. Clinical effect of beneficial pregnancy liquid to the persistent corpus luteum and ovary standstill of the dairy cows50 dairy cows with persistent corpus luteum or ovary standstill more than 60 days without estrus were selected. The test group were given beneficial pregnancy liquid through uterus infusion and the control group was given physiological saline. The results showed that the estrus rate were 83.3% and 77.3%, and pregnancy rate were 80.0% and 76.5%, respectively, in 18 dairy cows with persistent corpus luteum and 22 dairy cows with ovary standstill in the test group. But only one cow was in estrus in the control group and no pregnancy, the results showed that beneficial pregnancy liquid also have good effect for the treatment of persistent corpus luteum and ovary standstill of dairy cows.6. level changes of estradiol and progesterone in the peripheral blood in dairy cows with breeding barriers before and after treatment with beneficial pregnancy liquid10 infertile dairy cows with persistent corpus luteum, ovary standstill and chronic endometritis are selected, respectively, which were divided into the test and control group, each was 5. The test group of chronic endometritis were affused beneficial pregnancy liquid+ lactic acid ciprofloxacin, and the persistent corpus luteum and ovary standstill were affused beneficial pregnancy liquid, the control group was all affused physiological saline, blood of which was collected on day 0, 1, 3, 5, 7, 10, 14 and 21 with treatment. The level of estradiol (E2) and progesterone (P4) were analysed using electrochemiluminescence immunoassay(ECLIA). The results indicated that the level of E2 increased but that of P4 decreased gradually in dairy cows with persistent corpus luteum, and the level of E2 and P4 in dairy cows with ovary standstill increased, and that of E2 increased but P4 decreased in dairy cows with chronic endometrium. These results suggested that beneficial pregnancy liquid could induce luteolysis and estrus in infertile dairy cows.
