This paper aims to study economic benefit of border irrigation, sprinkler irrigation in semi-fixed pipe network, drip irrigation, large-scale sprinkling machine four kinds of irrigation ways on potato planted in sandy soil in Jingbian County. Thus establishing an appropriate irrigation methods for local development. With the local situation, four local potato varieties are doing the preliminary economic analysis on the basis of field experiments and investigations. Using the static analysis and dynamic analysis, analyzing the economic benefit of four local irrigation ways by two indexes including investment payback period and benefit-cost ratio. And on the basis of economic analysis, using the evaluation methods of TOPSIS and AHP, in other word, calculating the index weight by the AHP method and using TOPSIS method to calculate the standardized processing and compositor of evaluating indicators, comprehensive assessment of four irrigation methods. Its main findings are as follows:(1)Through the observation of plant height, commodity potato rate, yield and other characteristics of the four potato varieties, the commodity potato rate and yield of Fu Wuruite is close to Zi Huabai. They are better varieties. The characteristics of Shepody is placed in the middle. The growth period of Jin potato on 14th is the longest, and yield is the lowest. Therefore, Fu Wuruite and Zi Huabai are better varieties for planting.(2)Four irrigation methods of calculation indicates that border irrigation, sprinkler irrigation in semi-fixed pipe network, drip irrigation, large-scale sprinkling machine are 354.55 percent, 245.45 percent, 252.36 percent, 309.09 percent respectively in increasing incomes.Four irrigation methods have obvious effect of increasing production than not-irrigation, and also have a good social and ecological benefits.(3)Compared with the local border irrigation, sprinkler irrigation in semi-fixed pipe network can save water 46.4 percent, water-saving amount is 3900 stere per hektare. Large-scale sprinkling machine can save water 37.5 percent, water-saving amount is 3150 stere per hektare. Drip irrigation can save water 73.2 percent, water-saving amount is 6150 stere per hektare. Drip irrigation can save water 50 percent compare to sprinkler irrigation in semi-fixed pipe network, 57.1 percent than larger-scale sprinkling machine. (4)Economic analysis results showed that the investment payback period of border irrigation, sprinkler irrigation in semi-fixed pipe network, drip irrigation, large-scale sprinkling machine are 0.19, 3.18, 0.84, 1.06, the benefit-cost ratio are 2.17, 1.77, 5.46, 4.6 respectively. in other word, we invest one yuan, border irrigation can produce 2.17 yuan economic benefits. Sprinkler irrigation in semi-fixed pipe network can produce the economic benefits of 1.77 yuan. Drip irrigation can generate economic benefits of 5.46 yuan, while large-scale sprinkling machine can produce 4.6 yuan of economic returns, The economic benefits of drip irrigation is very obvious.(5)Comprehensive evaluation four irrigation methods in Jingbian County by AHP method and TOPSIS method. The evaluation result indicate that the compositor of three kinds of irrigation ways are drip irrigation first, sprinkler irrigation second and the large-scale sprinkling machine is last. In this paper, the combination of the two mathematical methods comprehensive evaluation method is more accurate than the previous one-comparative analysis. and also improve the ease-of-use evaluation methods, strengthen the evaluation of the results of the AHP objectivity, with reference.
