The quantity and quality of cashmere were influenced directly by the trait of skin follicle , and skin follicle structure, development and correlated regulation genes are important for breeding of cashmere goat. The Hoxc13 gene fragments of cashmere goat and Mongolia sheep were amplified by PCR. Their nucleotide sequence and two family numbers of KAP16 that it might be regulated by Hoxc13 were analyzed .The Hoxc13 gene fragments of cashmere goat and Mongolia sheep were amplified. The sequences length of DNA were 1300bp respectively. The homology of nucleotide in mammalian was very high.We used real-time PCR detect Hoxc13 of Cashmere goat gene fragment expression quantity in Cashmere goat embryonic 70 days and newborn time, and to predict Hoxc13 gene express to regulate expression.We analysis Cashmere goat's ESTs sequence and found amino acids homology was high.
